Our Story
The Saugy Dog® was created in 2023 to honor rescue pup Aster and celebrate Saugatuck’s welcoming spirit. The Saugy Dog is The Official Dog of Saugatuck® is an inclusive mixed-breed mascot representing all rescue dogs and the community’s open to all culture.
We partner with Kindel & Co in downtown Saugatuck for retail displays and support local causes through our sales. Every purchase helps commemorate Aster’s legacy and Saugatuck’s vibrant character.
